Good and Evil

I am Ronda. I bring you my peace. I give you my peace my friends.

Tonight I shall talk to you about the values and differences between good and evil.

Goodness is just I word with a vague meaning until it is applied. For what is goodness to one may not be so to another. To be good does not necessarily mean to be holy. To be good and useful only means that one should try as hard as one can to do no harm to others and to help those in need. To be good means to be tolerant and understanding. It does not mean praying all day long. It does not mean being a hypocrite. It means being unselfish and giving, not lending, but giving one's hand to help others, It means being concerned about your own and your friends and strangers. It means having compassion within your heart. It means trying to understand another one's point of view. It means forgiveness to those who harm you. To be good is to be strong in spirit, for it takes a lot of strength and fortitude to be able to survive the ridicule and the jeers that others bring upon you. For the quality of goodness is often mistaken for weakness. It is more difficult to be patient and understanding. It is harder to forgive than it is to dislike or to condemn.

Condemnations, accusations, the peaking of lies and distorted truth usually satisfy one’s ego but they do not accomplish any good or useful purpose. They tend to give to one a sense of superiority, and in your world that sense of superiority seems to be a desirable criteria. Yet, in the final analysis is it better not to be remembered because one was kind and patient than it is to be remembered because one was hated and disliked. For we, on my side, do not judge by your standards. We do not have the same criteria that your world has. We judge a soul by its qualities, by its perseverance in attaining9 a goal, by its usefulness to others.

Evil, on the other hand, is the spreading disease that infects the universe. Evil is a more direct force, a stronger way of persuasion. Evil is easily understood and easily used. Evil is almost a way of life. For it is so simple and so satisfying to hates. It is so desirable to building one's ego.

The sins, since you call them sins, of your world may not be mine on my side. Yet, other things that tend to hurt or harm another is evil. For the purpose of the Powers is harmony and evil is a discordant tone. Evil does not bring harmony nor serenity for evil brings an obscure sense of uneasiness and guilt. There is no great satisfaction, no lasting feelings in taking advantage of another. Even though the feeling may be temporary, it does not last. For one knows one's self and one knows when one has done wrong. The worse criminal in your world can at times be compared to a saint when he is placed side by side with some of your citizens. For a criminal may have omitted one single act, one evil deed for which he is paying whereas so many upright and outstanding citizens in your world, do-gooders and hypocrite, have committed more harm throughout their lives, indirectly perhaps, but harm nevertheless than a criminal. The danger of evil is the lasting effect it has, the attraction, it proves to be to the unsound or the not mature mind. For the same act or the same deed may be evil For one but not evil For another. It is for each one of you to decide what is good end what is evil. You must live within yourself. You must be able to look at yourself end Feel peace. If there is no peace, you are not a good person. You have committed evil. You have hurt someone. You have caused harm. Look at yourself. What sort of day have you had? Is any of the day accountable to the good or is the balance leaning towards nothingness, uselessness, or evil? Have you made an effort today? Have you smiled when you felt like frowning? Have you said one kind word to someone? Have you stretched your heart to help?

There is no choice between good end evil in the eye of the Supreme being. There is no choice to be made. You must give up some of the doubtful ways and try to attain the goals that are set for your souls. Do not become holy-holy. Do not become hypocrites. Do not become charlatans. Do not become living lies. Be human with all your frailties, knowing your frailties end trying to remedy them. You shall not be condemned for failing once in awhile. You shall be condemned for living a life of failure spiritually.

RONDA

The above was channeled through Frank Dixon (The Medium) , in Sacramento, California. A group of us became acquainted with Ronda, and his friends (guides) in 1972, and since then they have enjoyed thousands of sessions, most recorded on tape, and lots of the sessions transcribed to paper. The above is a sample of a session. We have lots of material to share with those who wish to learn, and we would be pleased . Our E-mail is ecott23@juno.com
