AN EMPTY CHRIST

Call me Yeshua! The name Jesus strips me of my cultural heritage.

Call me Yeshua! As Jesus, I am denied my infancy, my childhood, my adolescence, and my young manhood.

Call me Yeshua! Jesus forever hanging on a cross makes me an Empty Christ.

A cross can be a powerful symbol. A cross represents direction, indicating the extraordinary capacity for any of us to choose the direction of our life's activities. And the cross can express free will to change direction whenever we choose. A cross ca n be symbolic of the four elements - earth, air, water and fire - which can be used in their natural forms or blended in any combination for the betterment of mankind. A cross can symbolize the crossroads of life where diverse cultures, ethnicity, language, and belief systems can coexist with each other. Or a cross can represent the points of intersection where carnate and non-carnate beings interact with one another.

But the cross of Jesus was designed by those who manipulated and wanted to control the affairs of others. The cross of Jesus was constructed by those who would restrict free will, spontaneous creativity, and expansion of the human spirit. This cross dig s deep into the human psyche continuing the illusion of repressive domination and codependent helplessness.

Why would anyone want to glorify such a symbol?

Other selfish power brokers, intent on their own greedy desires and control over their peers, removed the historical traces of Jesus' infancy, childhood, adolescence and young manhood. They made Jesus the ONLY begotten son of God, thereby severing the rest of humanity its link with the divine essence. This lie has lived on for centuries.

And who but a slave owner would choose a name other than a person's given name. Why would anyone strip another of their homeland, of their traditions, of their family and community values?

I am Yeshua, who came to earth to better understand the human experience and to serve as an example for those interested in exploring their own divinity. I am a spiritual guide, teacher, healer, and alchemist.

I am Yeshua, who long ago came off the cross, a Resurrection Master.

I am Yeshua, a living CHRIST!

And you are a living CHRIST! Honor and respect yourself always.
