This picture of Seth was created by scanning one of the center plates from the book "Seth Speaks" by the late Jane Roberts. The background was removed, leaving only Seth. The Image of Seth was flipped and superimposed at a lower gamma creating the effect of Seth and his reflection. (Seth reflection may not appear on some monitors settings.)

The original portrait of Seth by Robert Butts is published in "Seth Speaks" (Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity Of The Soul - A Bantam Book published by arrangement with Prentice Hall, Inc. Second printing October 1972) as one of many pictures included in the center photograph plates of the paperback.

The caption under the picture as it appears in "Seth Speaks" reads:
"Portrait of Seth by Jane's husband, Robert F. Butts. Many of Jane's students visualize Seth in this form."
